How many questions are on the English 2 STAAR test? ›

This test must be completed in 5 hours and contains a total of 52 questions. There are 48 questions worth 1 point (both multiple- and non-multiple choice questions), 3 questions worth 2 points (non-multiple choice questions), and 1 extended constructed response.
