On June 14th and 15th at State Farm Stadium, 96 of the top girls basketball programs on the west coast will meet to compete in six different brackets at the annual Section 7 tournament.

Here I take a look at the top prospect to watch for each Arizona team in the Mayo Clinic bracket

Gilbert: Aspen McClees Aspen McClees 5'10" | PF Gilbert | 2026 State AZ

McClees is a difference maker every time she steps on the court. She has a guard-like ability to handle the ball as a power forward at both the top of the key and in the post. She possesses the strength to finish inside of the paint and takes over the game offensively in different ways for her team. Defensively, she is able to anchor the unit as a strong help side defender cleaning up mistakes and forces opposing players into mistakes generating turnovers in the process. She’s growing offensively as a spacer and continues to improve.

Canyon View: Aaliyah Rogers Aaliyah Rogers 5'7" | CG Canyon View | 2026 State AZ

Rogers is the definition of a winning player. She’s a pest on the defensive end of the court as a stellar on ball defender who creates problems for opposing guards regardless of size with her quick hands and ability to move well with her feet. Rogers has become a reliable three-point shooter and has grown in her ability to drive inside and finish through contact.

Sandra Day O’Connor: Audrey Bhesania Audrey Bhesania 5'11" | SF Sandra Day O'Connor | 2026 State AZ

Bhesania is a true two-way prospect who impacts the game in many different ways every time she’s on the court. Her ability to shoot on the perimeter and lead as a playmaker at the same time gives her the ability to be the prototype point-forward that can take over the game at the next level. In addition to being one a strong offensive prospect, she’s one of the better defenders in the 2026 class as she can defend both inside and outside of the paint.

Phoenix Country Day: Olivia Owens Olivia Owens 5'10" | PG Phoenix Country Day | 2025 State AZ

Owens has continued to rise in the rankings throughout her high school career, currently occupying the No. 2 spot in our 2025 rankings. She’s a physical and gifted guard who uses her length and height on both ends of the court to impact the game. Owens has developed a perimeter shot that has allowed her to become a true three level scorer and one of the best offensive players in the state.

Cesar Chavez: Sophia Doromal Sophia Doromal 5'4" | PG Cesar Chavez | 2025 State AZ

Doromal is one of the quickest guards in the state and leads an up-tempo offense built to score in transition. Her shiftiness with the ball in her hand allows her to get downhill to finish inside. She’s also able to grab rebounds over bigger defenders with ease in spite of her smaller frame. Doromal has become one of the better three-point shooters in the 2025 class at her position and has continued to grow as a passer. She projects as a true point guard at the next level.
